The Batang Toru forest in Sumatra is home to the Tapanuli orangutan – numbering fewer than 800, they are the rarest great apes on earth. But a Chinese state-owned company, SDIC, is slicing through the Tapanuli’s forest home with a dam project. They own Scottish power producer Red Rock, who are turning a blind eye.
